Explain (in one or two lines) the function of the followings: exon
The main functions of an exon are:- It plays an important role in the formation of mature as well as final mRNA after the removal of introns by the process of RNA splicing. Since the exons contain all the information which are required during the process of protein encoding, they are joined together as soon as the introns are removed in order to form mRNA which can be utilized for protein translation.
