How does the transmission of each of the following diseases take place? (b) Malaria
The mode of transmission of malaria is as follows:- It can be transmitted by the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito carrying the parasite Plasmodium. Since the malarial causing parasite is present in the red blood cells of infected individuals, the mode of transmission can also occur through blood transfusion as well as organ transplant.
