What is the physical state of water at— 25°C 0°C 100°C ?
a) 25° C At 25° C which is the room temperature, water is in liquid state. That is the natural state. Most of the water we use is in liquid state. b) 0° Water starts freezing at this temperature. Water is in solid state at this temperature. Water from liquid states starts changing to solid i.e. ice at 0°C. c)100° C It is the boiling point of water and at this temperature the water exists in gaseous form. At 100° C the water starts evaporating. When we apply 100° C to water we see steam rising and liquid starts converting into gas from liquid.
