CUET Tie-Breaker Policy for DU
This year Delhi University will be giving admission to students on the basis of their scores in CUET. CUET cut offs will be released by different colleges. A query has been coming up from the students regarding the tie breaker policy.
On Thursday, the Delhi University Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh in an interview with news agency PTI clarified that in case two students seeking admission in the same course and same college have the same CUET socres then breaker will be the marks received by the students in Class 12 Board Examination.
"In case of a tie between two students, the scores of the best of three subjects will be compared. If the best three are also the same, then the best four will be compared and then the best five. If by chance marks for the best five subjects are also the same, in that case, age will act as a tie breaker. The older applicant will get the seat” said Mr. Singh.
Thus, the tie breaker policy for DU admission through CUET will be as per the Class 12 board examination marks of the students.
