Yesterday, the Jharkhand Academic Council said, “JAC 12th Exam 2021 has not been canceled and the notice going viral on social media platforms is Fake. The decision on Jharkhand Class 12 Board Exam 2021 is yet to be taken.”

The JAC logo was included in the bogus announcement on social media, which caused a lot of misunderstanding among students. In a few days, the Jharkhand board will most likely make a definitive judgment on whether or not the exams will be held.

CBSE, CISCE cancel Class 12 board exams

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a meeting on June 1 and announced the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 board exams. CISCE also canceled the ICSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 across the country shortly following this news.

While announcing the cancellation of the board exams, PM Modi said that it was unfair to ask students to appear for the board exams in the middle of the pandemic. He also said that this decision was taken keeping the best interest of the students in mind.

Following the cancellation of CBSE and CISCE board exams across the country, state governments in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh have opted to cancel Class 12 board exams in their respective states due to the pandemic.

CBSE has not yet released the final evaluation criterion for Class 12 students. A 13-member expert panel has been formed, and the report containing the assessment technique will be submitted in 10 days.
