This award is given in the fields of peace, literature, physics, medicine, chemistry and economics, it was started in the year 1901 by the Nobel Foundation in memory of Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel. Before his death in December 1896, Alfred Nobel had reserved a large part of his wealth in a trust, wishing that the money be awarded annually to those whose work was most beneficial to mankind. The winners are known as laureates, and they get a gold medal, diploma, and a cash reward of ten million Swedish Kronor. The Norwegian Nobel Committee, located in Oslo, bestows the Nobel Peace Prize. The announcement of the Nobel Prizes for 2021 began on October 4 and will end on October 11, 2021.

2021 Nobel Prize winners details

1- Physiology or Medicine: The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2021 was shared by David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian for their discovery of temperature and touch receptors.

2- Physics: Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann, and Giorgio Parisi were jointly won the Nobel Prize in Physics 2021. One half of the prize was given to Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann for physical modelling of Earth's climate, quantifying variability, and reliably predicting global warming, while the other half was given to Giorgio Parisi for discovering the interplay of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems.

3- Chemistry: The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2021 was shared by Benjamin List and David W.C. MacMillan for their contributions to asymmetric organocatalysis.

4- Literature: The author Abdulrazak Gurnah has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature 2021 for his uncompromising and sympathetic exploration of the repercussions of colonialism and the destiny of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents.

5- Peace: The Nobel Peace Prize 202 was awarded jointly to Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov for their work to protect freedom of speech, which is a prerequisite for democracy and long-term peace. Both of them are representatives of all journalists who fight for this cause in a world when democracy and press freedom are under increasing threat.

6- Economic Sciences: David Card, Joshua D. Angrist, and Guido W. Imbens were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics 2021. David Card received half of the award for his empirical contributions to labour economics, while Joshua D. Angrist and Guido W. Imbens received the other half for their analytical contributions to the study of causal linkages.
