Rajasthan PTET Eligibility

The candidates appearing for the Rajasthan PTET examination can choose to apply for either 2 years B.Ed. course or 4- year B.Ed course. The eligibility criteria for both the courses differ from each other. As per the official notification, the eligibility for the post is based on parameters like:

1. Nationality 
2. Age Limit 
3. Educational Qualification

Only candidates who are Indian National can apply for these posts.

Rajasthan PTET Eligibility- Age Limit 

The minimum age limit for the Rajasthan PTET examination is 21 years.  There is no upper age limit for the examination.

Rajasthan PTET Eligibility- Educational Qualification

The eligibility is based on educational qualifications. Out of all the eligibility criteria, educational qualification is the most important one. The details related to the 2 years and 4 year course are as follows:
 

Course	Qualification
2-year B.Ed. Course	At least 50% marks in aggregate in the Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree. 45% aggregate in the case of SC, ST, OBC, MBC, PWD, Widow or Divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan Those who are appearing in the qualifying examination i.e. B.A./B.Com./B.Sc./Shastri Final year and/or M.A./M.Com./M.Sc/Acharya Final year may also apply subject to condition that they should have their result upto last date of online counseling registration Final year graduation/postgraduation candidates can also apply for the examination. Those candidates who have completed their degree or qualifications from the corresponding institute or university are not eligible to apply.
4-year B.Ed. (Integrated) Course	At least 50% marks in aggregate in the Senior secondary examination 45% aggregate in the case of SC, ST, OBC, MBC, PWD, Widow or Divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan Candidates appearing 10+2 can also apply by submitting relevant documents and certificates before the last date.
