In Allahabad, India, on November 14, 1889, Jawaharlal Nehru was born (now Prayagraj). His father, Motilal Nehru, was a prominent attorney. Because of his extremely wealthy father, Nehru received the greatest schooling possible. He was sent abroad to study at a young age. He attended Harrow and Cambridge universities in England to further his education. 1910 marked the year when he earned his degree. Nehru had middling academic performance and had no interest in law. He was drawn to politics. Nevertheless, he ultimately went on to become a lawyer and work in the Allahabad High Court. When he was 24 years old, he married Smt. Kamla Devi. Their daughter, Indira, was born to them

Nehru, Jawaharlal, as a Leader

Jawaharlal Nehru was India's first prime minister, which is noteworthy. He had excellent vision. He was also a politician, a writer, and a leader. He always worked day and night to improve the nation because he wanted India to be a prosperous nation. Jawaharlal Nehru was a visionary leader. The most significant thing he said was "Araam Haram Hai." Despite being a man of peace, Jawaharlal Nehru witnessed how the British abused Indians. He made the decision to join the liberation movement as a result. He shook hands with Mahatma Gandhi out of his passion for his nation (Bapu). He thus joined Mahatma Gandhi's Non-Cooperation movement.He had a lot of obstacles to overcome in his fight for freedom. He even spent a lot of time in jail. He did not, however, lose his affection for the nation. He put up a valiant battle that led to independence. The date of India's Independence was August 15, 1947. Jawaharlal Nehru worked hard to win the position of India's first prime minister.

Victories as prime minister

Nehru was a person with contemporary ideas. He has always wished for India to become a more advanced and civilised nation. The ideologies of Gandhi and Nehru were different from one another. Gandhi and Nehru held opposing views about civilization. Gandhi favoured an old India, whilst Nehru represented contemporary India. He had always desired for India to advance. Despite India's varying cultural and religious traditions. However, the country was under pressure to respect religious freedom. At that time, bringing the nation together was the major goal. Jawaharlal Nehru guided the nation in scientific and contemporary endeavours despite all the pressures.

Jawaharlal Nehru achieved a lot, but most importantly. He altered traditional Hindu culture. It was very beneficial to Hindu widows. Women now enjoy the same rights as males thanks to the change. the inheritance and property rights. 

Despite being a wonderful prime minister, Nehru had a lot of stress. the Kashmir area, which both India and Pakistan claimed. He made repeated attempts to resolve the conflict, but it persisted.
