JKSSB Sub Inspector: Salary Structure

SI candidates are paid at level 6C of the J&K Pay Matrix. Every year, the minimum wage rises. The basic wage in the first year is Rs. 35700 per month. In the second year, it will be Rs. 36800. In the third year, it will be 37900. If the candidate stays in this position, it will increase every year till it reaches Rs. 113100 per month (Level 40). However, after a few years of service, the candidate is promoted and granted a better pay bracket.

Rs. 35700-113100 (i.e. 9300-34800 Grade Pay 4240*)

Total Salary in Month

Rs. 48000-51000 per month

Net Salary per Month

Rs. 44000-47000 per month

 

JKSSB Sub Inspector Perks and Additional Benefits

Inspectors have specific rights while working as a JKSSB Sub Inspector, including:
  • Dearness Allowance (DA) is equal to 28% of the base wage.
  • HRA (House Rent Allowance)
  • For all metropolitan cities, the basic income is worth 24 percent of the annual salary (X class cities)
  • In Srinagar U.A. and Jammu U.A., it is 16% of the basic salary (Y class cities)
  • Officer jobs are paid at 8% of the base salary (Z class locations).
  • Other expenses reimbursable

Please keep in mind that the above-mentioned pay may differ significantly depending on departmental allowances. The wage scale is mentioned in JKSSB advt 6 of 2021. The Dearness Allowance has been raised from 17 to 28 percent.
