Quantitative Aptitude in SBI Clerk Exam

In the prelims of SBI Clerk Exam a total of 35 questions are asked from Quantitative Aptitude which must be solved within 20 minutes and in the mains exam, a total of 50 questions are asked which must be solved within 45 minutes. How To Prepare Quantitative Aptitude for SBI Clerk Exam

1. Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Candidates must go through the exam pattern and syllabus of SBI Clerk Exam very thoroughly to understand how to prepare for the different section. After going through the syllabus, candidates should divide the topics among different categories such as the ones you are confident about, ones that you are not confident about,  the ones that you do not know anything about etc. If you are a fresher and do not have any prior knowledge of the topics, then consider all the topics as your weakness. 

3. Analyse Previous Year Papers
Go through the previous year papers and analyze the number of questions asked from different topics and note it all down.

4. Make a study chart
After understanding your weaknesses and strengths and analyzing previous year question papers, make a study chart according to which topics you need to give more time to. Make sure that you make a plan so as to cover all the topics, but devote more time to topics that you are weak in and the topics from which, on a comparative more number of questions are asked.

5. Understand the Concepts 
To score well in quantitative aptitude section of SBI Clerk Exam, it is important to understand all the concepts well and be thorough with all the topics. Do not leave a topic until and unless you have completely understood it.

6. Practice Questions
Along with having conceptual clarity, practising questions is very important for Quantitative Aptitude Section. Candidates should practice as many questions as possible after finishing a particular topics.

Candidates after having understoos the topic, and solving a good number of questions, should also try to learn shortcuts and quick calculation tricks to solve the questions. 8. Solve Previous Year Question Papers
This is must for all the candidates. Candidates should definitely attempt previous year question papers to know if they are able to solve the questions that have previously been asked in the examination or not.

9. Take Mock Tests and Analyse Them
Take as many mock tests as possible to practice and learn how to manage time. Candidates should also analyze the mock tests and understand their mistakes and revise those concepts.
