Prevent animal exploitation

Overexploitation is best defined as the very rapid harvesting of animals. The speed here is often faster than the animal's ability to recover. This is most common in fishing, but other groups of animals such as mammals, poultry or wild birds, and reptiles are also vulnerable to the same threat. The problem of overfishing is simple. When multiple individuals of a particular species are overfished, the species is endangered from which there is no recovery. One of the biggest cases of this problem is in fish. Over the past 100 years, certain fish species such as salmon and tuna have been overfished so heavily that the size of new fish plummeted. This is also affecting natural aquaculture. Wildlife sanctuaries work to protect these animals so that multiple species are well protected and effectively prevented from being overfished.
