Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for Bihar Home Guard Exam since it is a state-level exam. Candidates should also have documents to prove the same.

Bihar Home Guard Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age to be eligible for Bihar Home Guard Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The details of upper age limit relaxation are as given below:

Bihar Home Guard Eligibility Criteria: Experience

Candidates who are already a part of Bihar Police Department have a 50% reservation. But they should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

They should have completed at least five years of duty in their respective department
.They should fulfill the physical eligibility criteria as well as other criteria given above.
They should have more than 10 years of duty left before their retirement when they apply for this post.
The minimum age limit is 24 years for these candidates and the maximum age limit is 50 years.
