HTET Subjects	Topics
Languages (Hindi & English)	These sections will focus on the proficiency related to the medium of instruction for the age group of 14-17
Child Development and Pedagogy	Understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, Interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning Educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 14-17 years
Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness	It will focus on the elements of Mental and Reasoning Ability and General Knowledge regarding Haryana State. This section cover topics related to Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Haryana G.K
Subject Opted by the Candidates (Social Studies/Science/Mathematics/Others)	Various concepts, problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects Topics taught in class IX-XII by the Education Department, Govt. of Haryana This section will deal with the specific subject chosen by the candidates

Is HTET is valid for a lifetime?

According to the HTET 2022 Notification, the certificate validity period is seven years. Previously, the Ministry of Education increased the validity of the HTET from 7 years to life, with retroactive effect from 2011. However, the HTET Certificate Validity has now been reduced to 7 years.
