On 25 th July Ministry Of Home Affairs conducted the Tier 2 exam of IB ACIO 2020. The IB ACIO Exam Pattern Consists of three stages they are - Tier 1 , Tier 2  and interview round. The Tier 1 of this exam was conducted in February 2021. Tier 1 is an objective type paper where questions range from Quant, English, General Knowledge and Reasoning.  While Tier 2 is a descriptive type of exam where essay writing and English comprehension skills of candidates are tested. IB ACIO Exam Pattern

As mentioned above there are three stages in the examination, the first stage is Tier 1, the second, being Tier 2 and at last, the exam consists of an interview round. The exam details are mentioned in the official notification released by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The details related to exam are as follows:

IB ACIO Exam Tier 1 Pattern

The exam pattern and marking scheme are as follows:
  1. The exam is a computer-based test.
  2. The questions are objective type.
  3. The duration of the exam is One hour.
  4. The maximum number of marks possible in the exam are 100.
  5. The exam consists of 100 questions.
  6. There is a negative marking of 1/3 of marks for each wrong answer.

IB ACIO Exam Tier 2 Pattern 

This is the descriptive stage of examination. The candidates who clear Tier 1 are eligible to sit for this stage. The exam details are as follows :
  1. The exam is pen and paper-based.
  2. The maximum number of marks possible is 100.
  3. There is no negative marking in the exam.
  4. The duration of the examination is 1 hour.
The exam pattern is illustrated below:

IB ACIO Exam Interview

The candidates who are able to clear the Tier 2 exam are called for an interview round. The marks for the interview round are 100. The questions in the interview range from graduation subject, hobby family, and personal life.
