ICSE, ISC board exams postponed: Check here for details  Published by: suzan poudel Updated Fri, 16 Apr 2021 10:23 PM IST

The CISCE on Friday postponed  the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations in view of the new wave of  COVID-19  across the country. The exams were scheduled to be held from 4th May, 2021.

Last year  the board exams were cancelled by the ICSE board  and students were evaluated on the basis of marks recieved in  internal assessment.
The candidates were evaluated based on the marks obtained in  the best three subjects  marks for which board exams were earlier  held  and also on the basis of  their internal assessment and project work marks.

This decision comes  two days after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) cancelled the  10th board exams of class 10th and postponed those of class 12th.

Even many  other state boards -- such as  Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Odisha -- have postponed and cancelled their class 10th and 12th exams.

Important instructions for students:
  • Stay in touch with your books . Utilise this time for revision and to practice previous year papers
  • Students whose exams have been cancelled can even use this time preparing for competitive exams
  • Keep yourself motivated
  • Don't take stress
  • Take care of your health
  • Keep visiting the official websites of various boards concerned for more updates regarding the exams.
