Exams are held by the commission for a variety of positions, including J&K Accounts Services, J&K Police Service, and Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Services. JKPSC KAS Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before submitting an application, one must review the JKPSC KAS Exam Eligibility. Knowing the prerequisites in advance will enable you to determine if you are qualified to apply or not. The main criteria that must be met by an applicant are listed below.

Age Limit

The candidates must come between the range of the eligible age limit. According to the JKPSC KAS eligibility criteria, the lower age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit is 32 years. The commission will also provide relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates who belong to the reserved categories. The details of the same have not been released as of now. Educational Qualification

The candidates must have a minimum qualification of Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or institution.

Physical Measurement

The physical measurement is an essential criterion of eligibility for JKPSC KAS exam. The candidates applying for the KAS exam need to fulfil certain minimum standards set by the commission. Only the candidates with the required physical measurements will be called for the selection process. Nationality

According to the JKPSC KAS eligibility criteria, the candidate must be an Indian national and a permanent resident of J&K state. The candidates must be a citizen of India for this exam.

Number of Attempts

The official notification containing the eligibility for JKPSC KAS exam does not include any restriction regarding the number of attempts. The candidates can apply for the exam until he/she crosses the upper age limit. The number of attempts varies for the candidates of different categories according to the provided upper age relaxation.

Experience

The JKPSC KAS exam eligibility criteria States that candidates with no previous experience are eligible for the respective exams. All the freshers, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, can apply for the exam.
