The JSSC JE recruitment exam is held to choose eligible and deserving applicants for junior engineer positions in the Jharkhand government's various technical divisions.
Engineers from mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines are eligible to apply.
Candidates with a Diploma degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or a higher qualification are eligible to apply for these positions.

B. JSSC JE Educational Qualifications
- A diploma in the relevant engineering branch from a recognised university/institute is required.
- Candidates with higher qualifications will be evaluated as well.
JSSC JE Exam Pattern
The exam is divided into two papers. Each paper will have 120 questions and will last 2 hours. The exam follows the following format:- There will be a total of 120 questions.
- Each question is worth three points.
- One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
- The questions will be asked in both Hindi and English.
