CUET result 2022 has been released on the official website of CUET. All those students who appeared for CUET UG Exams can now check their results and download their scorecards. There were different subjects for which candidates applied out of which there were some subjects which had a lot of students scoring 100 percentile. All those who are preparing for CUET 2023 should know the scoring subjects in CUET Exam and try to opt for these subjects keeping their interest in mind. Most Scoring Subjects in CUET 2022

As per the results released by NTA, a total of 19,865 candidates scored 100 percentile in 30 different subjects in CUET. The highest number of 100 percentilers were for English (8236), followed by Political Science (2,065) and Business Studies (1,669). Biology, Economics and Psychology also had good number of 100 percentile scorers. Other subjects included Hindi (875), Accountancy (422), Geography (326), History (893) and Sociology (261).

It is expected that the cut off for these subjects will be high in different colleges and universities. 

Along with this, there were atleast12 students who scored 100 percentile normalised score in all the five subjects and at least 104 students got perfect score in four subjects. The top scorers include 12,799 female candidates and 8,360 male students. The scores of candidates have been calculated using the equi-percentile method. 

Now that the result has been released, merit lists will be prepared by the participating universities and colleges and counselling will start on the basis of CUET scorecard. 

This was the first edition of the Centralised Exam for admission in Universities and Colleges. It was conducted in a total of six phases from July onwards and was concluded on 30th August 2022. About 60% of the registered students appeared for the final exam.

CUET Exam Pattern

For all those preparing for CUET 2023, it is important that you understand the exam pattern to know the different subjects and the demand of the exam. The detailed exam pattern of CUET is as follows:
Section Subjects Questions to be Attempted Type of Questions Duration
Section I A Languages This section consists of 13 different languages There are a total of 50 questions and the candidate must attempt 40 questions To test the Language through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passage-Factual, Narrative, Literary (Literary aptitude and Vocabulary) There is a total of 45 minutes for each language
Section I B Languages This section has 20 languages apart from Section IA
Section II Domain There is a total of 27 Domains specific subjects under this section. Candidates can choose a maximum of 06 Domains as desired by applicable universities/Universities There are a total of 40 questions to be attempted out of 50
  • Input text can be used for MCQ Based Questions
  • MCQs based on NCERT Class 12th syllabus only
There is a total of 45 minutes for each Domain-Specific Subject.
Section III- General test For any such undergraduate programs offered by the university where a General Test is being used for admission. There are a total of 60 questions to attempt out of 75

  • General Mental ability, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning
