This is a detailed post with brief description of certain courses / degrees they can opt for without having to sit for NEET  exam.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG)  (NEET (UG)  is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.

With the increase in competition from all spheres candidates who will be appearing for 10+2 are looking for alternate options that will offer them a place in the medical world but without NEET . Such students needn't worry as we have curated for them this detailed post with brief description of certain courses / degrees they can opt for without having to sit for NEET  exam.Every year around 14-15 lakh candidates apply and appear for NEET exam . However , appearing for the exam and getting selected are two different aspects and many students  fail to make it through the exam .

Last year around 7,71,500 candidates qualified NEET 2020 out of  the 13,66,945  that had  appeared. This shows how tough the competition is . B.Sc. in Nursing – Candidates  who have completed their Class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main  subjects will be eligible for this course. The top colleges offering this course are -All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS],Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research - [PGIMER],Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research - [JIPMER] among many others.

Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences (BVSc) -This field involves   the study of prevention , control  diagnosis and treatment of ailments or diseases  in animals and birds . Candidates can choose to study  Bachelor in Veterinary Science after  completing class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, along with English is eligible to apply for the course. It is an undergraduate  programme  of 5.5 years with 6 months compulsory internship programme .  BVSc deals with  animal nutrition, animal breeding, and genetics, animal pathology and many more .

Bachelor of Science in Microbiology - Candidates who have passed 10+2 with  or pass examinations from any recognized school or board.B.Sc in  Microbiology is a  3-years undergraduate course that deals with the  study of  microorganisms with particular special  emphasis on the biology of bacteria, viruses, fungi etc .

Bachelor of Science in  Biotechnology - BSC  in Biotechnology is a 3- year undergraduate course for candidates.The minimum educational qualification required for the  course is 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects  completed from a recognized  board.

B.Sc in Forensic Science- B.Sc in Forensic Science  is a three-year undergraduate program which  deals with the  study of scientific applications and knowledge which  helps with  the investigation of crimes and analyzing evidence and other details related with solving of crimes .

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition - B.Sc in nutrition is an undergraduate degree programme of   3 years which focuses on the  various aspects of food and the  nutritional value it has on human beings. The main  focus of the course is to  study the national value of  food products consumed by human beings.To be eligible the candidate must have passed Class 12th  from a recognised board with Biology or Life Science as one of the subjects.

Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy- B.Sc in Physiotherapy is a three-year undergraduate course which deals with offering of  preventive and therapeutic services which aims at restoring function and preventing disabilities that  arise  from  any form of trauma or injury.The  candidates must have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Class 12th  in Science Stream. 

B.Tech in Biomedical-Students who have passed Class 12th in Science stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this course.B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is a course of  4-years which aims  at  including engineering practices within the medical world. 

B.Pharma-Bachelor of Pharmacy course is crafted  for candidates who have completed their  10+2 exams with subject combination of either Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
