The official notification for the position of teachers and principal has the OAVS syllabus for the Computer Based Test (CBT) published by the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS). Your preparation will be guided by the OAVS Syllabus's listed themes and subtopics. To achieve the highest possible result on the exam, one should also be familiar with the OAVS exam format. The exam registration period is currently open and will close on November 23, 2020. Candidates who desire to apply for the exam should review the OAVS Syllabus 2020 in its entirety. Three stages will be involved in the selection process for the open position. These consist of a performance exam, an interview, and a CBT.

OAVS Syllabus 2022

The computer-based test and interview make up the two components of the OAVS exam. The tables below have been updated using the most recent OAVS syllabus:

OAVS Syllabus – Computer Based Test

The OAVS has provided an overview of the OAVS syllabus on its website. According to it, the expected syllabus has been described in the table below. The OAVS syllabus for each post is different due to the difference in educational qualification and other requirements.

OAVS Syllabus – Interview and Performance Test

There is no syllabus provided for these stages of the selection process. The candidates must prepare as per the needs of the post. Additionally, you can work on your soft skills and teaching skills to prepare for these stages.

OAVS Principal Exam Pattern

• The duration of the test will be 3 hours
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 60 marks as well for the post of Principal.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Parts II, III, IV& interview (40+30+70+60=200).
• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme will be examined (Parts II, III& IV) and interview: 70% and 30%.

OAVS TGT Exam Pattern (English/ Odia/ Maths/ Science/ Social Studies)

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70 % (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

OAVS PGT Exam Pattern(English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Math/ Commerce/ Economics/ Computer Science)

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

OAVS Computer Teacher Exam Pattern

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 20 marks as well for the post of Computer Teacher.
• A performance test of 20 marks will be conducted separately.

• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.

• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 50% (Parts II & III), Performance Test 20%, and Interview 30%.

OAVS Librarian Exam Pattern

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.

• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70% (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

OAVS Exam Pattern - Interview (Principal Post)

• Part-II, Part-III and Part-IV of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing minimum 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Parts II, III, IV & interview (40+30+70+60=200). For preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme will be examination (Parts II, III & IV) and interview: 70% and 30%.
