OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

Candidates should be Indian nationals to be eligible for OPSC ASO Exam.

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates between 21 to 38 years of age are eligible to apply for OPSC ASO Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government guidelines.

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

Candidates should have completed graduation to be eligible for OPSC ASO Exam. Candidates must have adequate knowledge of Computer Application, although the commission doesn’t demand any certification for the same, there will be a skill test in Computer Application which is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify. Candidates must also have proficiency in Odia language. They should have either of the following:
  1. Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject; or
  2. Passed Matriculation or equivalent exam with Odia as a medium of examination in the non-language subject; or
  3. Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VIII or above; or
  4. Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard.
 

 

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no upper limit on the number of attempts for OPSC ASO Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
