OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for OPSC ASO Exam. Documents to prove the same are also required.

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age to be eligible for OPSC ASO Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government norms.

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

Candidates should have completed graduation from a recognised university or college. Candidate should also have proficiency in Computer Knowledge and Odia language and should have:
  1. Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject; or
  2. Passed Matriculation or equivalent exam with Odia as a medium of examination in the non-language subject; or
  3. Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VIII or above; or
  4. Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard.

OPSC ASO Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for OPSC ASO Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
