Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is its full name.
To hire teachers for elementary and upper primary classrooms, the Punjab State Punjab School Education Board administers an eligibility exam for instructors.

PSTET Paper 1 Eligibility for Primary classes: Class 1st to 5th

- Candidate must pass 12th standard or equivalent examination with at least 50 % marks

|
Candidates have a graduation degree from a recognized university and also a B.ED degree, a D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed degree.

Does the PSTET need a B Ed?
For classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage), the following minimum educational requirements must be met: graduation, passing the last year of the 2-year Elementary Education Diploma program, or appearing in it (by whatever name known). passing or enrolling in a one-year Bachelor of Education program after graduating with at least 50% of the required grades (B. Ed).
The PSTET test 2022 has no restrictions on the minimum or a maximum number of tries. The candidates can appear as many times as they want.
