Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% marks and 50% for SC/ST/BC category candidates.
Candidates should have had Punjabi as a compulsory or optional subject.
This is a mandatory requirement, however, for Ex-Servicemen, minimum educational qualification is matriculation.
