QUAD Fellowship was announced in September 2021 by QUAD partner countries- Australisa, Indian, Japan and the United States.
The scholarship is set to sponsor 100 masters and doctoral students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) from the partner countries to study in the United States from August 2023 to May 2024.
This is a first of its kind scholarship programme which is aimed to build ties amongst the next generation of scientists and technologists.
Each QUAD fellow will receive $50,000 which can be used for various expeses ranging from tuition, research, fees, books, room and board to other academic expenses.

QUAD Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
The required qualifications to be eligible for QUAD Fellowship are as follows:
- Applicant must be an American, Japanese, Australian, and Indian citizen
- He/She must be a student who are pursing masters and doctoral degree in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
- Applicant must pursue his/her degree from universities in the United States.
- Applicant must hold the graduation/ masters degree from a recognized university.
