RSMSSB Junior Instructor Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

As this is a state-level exam, candidates should be citizens of India to be eligible for RSMSSB Junior Instructor Exam.

RSMSSB Junior Instructor Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 20 to 40 years of age to be eligible for RSMSSB Junior Instructor Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The details of upper age limit relaxation are as given below.

RSMSSB Junior Instructor Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

The requirements of educational qualification are different for different posts. The details are as follows:

Junior Instructor  (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant )	i) Candidate should have passed 12th class or should or equivalent qualification from a well-reputed Board or University.   OR    ii)Candidate should have a 3 years Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering or Technology Or BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology/MCA Or   BCA/BSC in Computer Science Or A national certificate in the relevant trade is also accepted.
Junior Instructor    (Mechanic Diesel Engine, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic, Welder, Wireman, Workshop Calculation and Science)	i) Candidate should have passed 12th Std. in accordance with the old scheme(with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or according to the 10+2 Scheme from a well-reputed Institution/University.    Or   ii)Candidate should have a diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant trade or a certificate in National Apprenticeship in the same.

 

RSMSSB Junior Instructor Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts for RSMSSB Junior Instructor Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

The requirements of experience for different posts are as follows:

Computer Operator & Programming Assistant	Candidates should have a 3 years diploma in Computers with 2 years’ experience in the same.    Or    1-year experience in MCA/B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Engineering or Technology   Or   2 years experience in B.C.A or B.Sc. in Computer Science.    Or    3 years of experience in National Trade Certification in related trade.
Mechanical Diesel Engine	2 years of experience in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering    3 years of experience in National Trade Certification in related trade.
Electrician	2 years experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering    3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Electronic Mechanic	2 years experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering   3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Fitter	2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering   3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioner	2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering/Refrigeration Air Conditioning   3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Welder	2 years of experience in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production/Mechatronics   3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Wireman	2 years experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering    3 years experience in National Trade Certification in related trade
Calculation & Science Workshop	2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
