SEBI Grade A eligibility criteria is defined along the following parameters:

Age Limit
Educational Qualifications

The details regarding these are as follows.

SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

Candidates should be

Citizens of India. OR,
Citizens of Bhutan/Nepal/Bangladesh with a valid certificate by the Indian Government.

SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

The age of candidates should not exceed 30 years of age. There is age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to different categories. The details are as follows:

SC/ST	5 Years
OBC	3 Years
Ex-Service	3 Years

SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

Name of the post	Educational Qualification
General	A Master’s Degree in any discipline, Bachelors’ Degree in Law, Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from a recognized university, CA / CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.
Legal	A Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
IT	Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics And Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology
Research	Master’s Degree in Economics/ Commerce/Statics/Business Administration/Econometrics from a recognized Institute.
Official Language	Master’s Degree in Hindi with English writing as one of the subjects at Bachelor Degree Level from a recognized University.

SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for SEBI Grade A Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they like provided they fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria.
