The SSC CHSL Exam Eligibility criteria is as follows:

There are 2 stages in this exam. The examination consists of Computer Based Exam (Tier –I) and Tier- II.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern: Tier I

The first phase of the SSC CHSL exam is a online exam. Where candidates will have to secure marks more than a certain cutoff, in order to be eligible for other phases of the exam.

Questions in Tier –I are objective type
Each question carries 2 mark.
Stipulated time for completion of Tier –I is one hour.
SSC CHSL Tier –I is a bilingual exam, conducted in Hindi and English.
In Tier-I, there will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
