Candidates who intend to apply for any position of Havaldar must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the official notification. If a candidate is found entering the recruitment stages without meeting the eligibility requirements, he or she will be disqualified immediately.
SSC Havaldar Age Limit (As on 1st January 2022)
For the post of Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue)
- Minimum Age: 18
- Maximum Age: 25
- In other words, candidates should be born not before 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2004
For the post of Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue)

SSC Havaldar Nationality Criterion
Candidates appearing for the recruitment must be a:
- citizen of India,
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan,
- Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before 1st Jan 1962
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam

SSC Havaldar Marital Status
A candidate will not be eligible for an appointment if he is married to a person who has a living spouse or the candidate is married and enters into another marriage. The central govt may allow such exemption if it is necessary as per law.
