Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture from a concerned university/institution & must know Tamil

TNPSC Agricultural Officer Eligibility Criteria 2022

To secure the position of an Agricultural Officer under TNPSC, one needs to make sure that he/she fulfills all the criteria set by the commission. One must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible to apply for the post.

Age Limit

The age limit for the candidates applying for the exam depends on their educational qualifications.

The candidate applying must be above 18 years old. The below table shows the category-wise and qualification-wise age limits required for the candidates.

Note- An upper age limit of 10 years is offered for the candidates of the PWD category.

 

TNPSC Agricultural Officer Qualification

One of the most important TNPSC Agricultural Officer Eligibility criteria is the educational qualification that one must possess to apply for TNPSC exams. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) from a university that is recognized by the Government. Also, the candidate eligible must have adequate knowledge of the Tamil Language with a higher level of proficiency.

There is no specific number of attempts specified to appear for the TNPSC Agriculture Officer Exam 2022. If the candidate is eligible, then he/she can apply for the examination. Even candidates who have cleared the TNPSC Agricultural Officer exam can appear again to improve their scores.

TNPSC Agricultural Officer Experience
