UGC NET exam pattern is set by National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts UGC NET Examination on behalf of the University Grants Commission.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2021
As mentioned above, UGC NET Exam comprises of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2.
The exam is conducted online in CBT mode.
Candidates have to complete both the papers within three hours.
Both the papers comprise of objective type questions.
Paper 1 comprises of 50 questions while Paper 2 comprises of 100 questions.
Each question carries two marks and there is no negative marking.

As per the official notification released, "This will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
