UP Board Exams 2021: Decision on Class 10th, 12th Board Exam Dates After May 20th

The UP Board has decided to take a decision regarding the 10th & 12th Board Exams only after May 20th , 2021 due to the uncertainty caused by rising corona cases across the country  . Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma was quoted as stating on Wednesday  that the decision on board , varsity examinations would be taken only after a brief consultation with the Chief Minister , Yogi Adityanath .

The UP Board exams which were supposed to commence from 24th April ,2021 were postponed till May 20th ,2021. Hence the  Uttar Pradesh Madhhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is  expected to make  the final verdict regarding the UP Board Exams 2021 only  by May 20th .

Nearly 56 lakh students have been registered to appear in the UP Board exams which have been postponed since April due to  the recent upsurge in the number of Corona virus cases in the country.

Owing to the recent surge several other boards like CBSE have postponed their Class 12th Board  Exams and even cancelled the ones for Class 10th same is the case with Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) which has finally cancelled it's 10yh Boards and  postponed the 12th boards ISC exams keeping in mind the safety and well being of the students .

This year the UP Board exam will see a total of  29,94,312 examinees, including 16,74,022 boys and 13,20,290 girls who  have  registered for the high school examination. Similarly  the intermediate examination will be attended to by  26,09,501 examinees, including 14,73,771 boys and 11,35,730 girls who have   registered for the  exam.
