Correct option is B) The reaction for the dissociation of water(electrolysis) is: 2H 2 ​ O(l)→2H 2 ​ (g)+O 2 ​ (g) As shown in the equation, the number of hydrogen molecules produced is twice the number of oxygen molecules. Therefore, the mole ratio of hydrogen and oxygen gas liberated is 2:1.
