Explain the symbiotic relationship between Rhizobium bacteria and leguminous plants
Rhizobia belong to a group of bacteria called 'Nitrogen fixing bacteria'. They live inside root nodules of Leguminous plants in a symbiotic relationship- they provide organic nitrogen and the plant provides shelter and other nutrients for the bacteria.
