Alkalis are often defined as Bases that are soluble in water are called Alkalis. example : caustic soda , potash, etc,. Important point to understand about Alkalis is that each one alkalis are bases but all bases aren't Alkalis. Bases are a gaggle of drugs that neutralise acids.
