Forest are important as a resources because they Provide shelter and food to wildlife. Maintain balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Increase water holding capacity of soil and prevent soil erosion. Help to regulate the water cycle. Products like fuel, wood, timber, paper, etc. are obtained. Products like fruits, resins, gums, essential oils, etc. used in various industries are obtained.
