In atomic physics, the Bohr or Rutherford-Bohr model, published by Niels Bohr and Ernest Rutherford in 1913, is a system consisting of a small, dense core surrounded by orbiting electrons. It resembles the structure of our solar system, but has a gravitational pull. Provided by electrostatic force instead of gravity.
