Cork cambium forms tissues that form the cork. Do you agree with this statement? Explain.

Yes, cork cambium or phellogen is formed during secondary growth of Dicot stem . Cork cambium or phellogen cuts off on both sides . The cells produced towards outerside differentiates into cork or phellem and the inner cells differentiates into secondary cortex or phelloderm .
