How is the gravitational force between two point masses affected when they are dipped in the water keeping the separation between them the same?

The gravitational force does not change and remain unaffected even when they are dipped in water by keeping the separation between them is same. This is because the gravitational force does not depend on the medium separating the two-point masses.
