As iceberg is floating on surface of sea ∴ Weight of iceberg = Weight of displaced liquid V.ρiceg=V′.ρwg V=Volume of iceberg V′=Volume of iceberg inside water or volume of displaced water by iceberg Volume of icebergVolume of iceberg submerged=VV′=ρwρice=10.917 Hence, 0.917 part of iceberg body is submerged inside water.
