As we know, Efficiency of Carnot's engine μ=1−T1​T2​​ Temperature of source or reservoir =T1​=500 K Temperature of sink =T2​=300 K ∴η=1−T1​T2​​ Input work (E)Output work​=1−500300​ x1000J​=1−0.6 x1000​=0.4 x=0.41000​=2500 J.
