Amino acids exist as zwitterions. Give its structure. Why is it formed?

A zwitterion is a molecule with both positively and negatively charged components but no net electrical charge. It is formed due to the ionizable nature of the carboxylic and amino group, that is, -COOH and -NH2 group.
