Explanation Dense regular connective tissue: Dense regular connective tissue is found in different fabrics such as ligaments and tendons in the human body. Collagen fibers in dense regular connective tissue are arranged in parallel bundles. Dense regular connective tissue is further categorized into two types, such as white connective tissue and yellow connective tissue. Dense irregular connective tissue: Dense irregular connective tissue is found in inner layers of skin such as dermis and white portion of the eye (sclera). Collagen fiber in the dense irregular connective tissue is arranged randomly. The bundles of collagen fibers are much thicker in dense irregular connective tissue. This type of connective tissue provides strength and makes the skin resistant to tearing. Final answer Dense regular connective tissue is present in tendons and ligaments. Collagen fiber in these types of tissues is arranged in parallel bundles. Dense irregular connective tissue is present in the innerlayers of the skin and white portion of the eye. In these types of tissues, the collagen fiber is arranged randomly.
