Explanation The photosynthetic process of plants is dependent on a number of factors referred to as the limiting factors. These factors either accelerate or work to decelerate the process of photosynthesis. The limiting factors may work together to effect the process of photosynthesis. Factors such as light energy, water, temperature act as limiting factor. At point A, the rate of photosynthesis is affected by intensity of light energy. During low intensity, the rate of photosynthesis is relatively low and therefore, light energy acts as a limiting factor. In addition to this, other factors such as temperature and carbon di oxide can act as limiting factors. Final Answer Light, temperature, water availability, etc., can act as a limiting factor at region A.
