Differentiate between (c) Aerobic respiration and Fermentation
Aerobic respiration: 1. Glucose is completely oxidized. 2. More ATP is produced 3. It yields Carbon-dioxide, water and energy. 4. Its more common in the cells of higher organisms. 5. It is an oxygen requiring process. Fermentation: 1.Glucose is not completely oxidised. 2. Less ATP are produced. 3. It yields Carbon-dioxide, ethyl alcohol and energy. 4. It’s more common in the cells of lower organisms. 5. it’s an anaerobic process i.e., it takes place in absence of oxygen.
