During the muscular contraction of skeletal muscles, the calcium ions are stored in the Sarcoplasmic reticulum which is present in the Sarcolemma of the muscle fibre. Once the calcium ions are released in the Sarcolemma portion of the muscle fibres, the binding of troponin in the active site of Actin filament occurs. Final answer In a muscle fibre Ca++ is stored in Sarcoplasmic Reticulum.
