The eye is a spherical structure consisting of three layers the outer, middle and inner. The outer layer of the eye consists of sclera and cornea. The middle layer of the eye is a vascular layer and is composed of choroid, ciliary body, and iris. The eye also shows the presence of a transparent and biconvex structure called the lens. The innermost layer of the eye is a nervous coat containing retina.
