Though sexual reproduction is a long, energy-intensive complex method of reproduction, many groups of Animalis and Plantae use this mode of reproduction.Offsprings formed due to sexual reproduction have better chances of survival.The new progeny formed through sexual reproduction can adapt themselves to environmental conditions but this is not always true , the reason is; In certain conditions, there are some organisms that do not want to move as they are settled in their environment. Sometimes sexual reproduction among species of a given population can cause a reduction in yield and thus reduced the chances of survival.
