Following were the key scientific and technological advances which brought scientific revolution: Invention of blast furnace boosted steel industry. Powerloom by Cartright brought a boom in textile industry or Cotton gin which was used to separate the seeds from the cotton many times faster than by the hand.. Invention of electricity by designing dynamos and motors. Invention of steam engine by James Watt helped in tranportation.
