Test pass is a pass among an organism with unknown genotype and a recessive parent. It is used to determine whether or not the person is homozygous or heterozygous for a trait. If the progenies produced through a check pass display 50% dominant trait and 50% recessive trait, then the unknown person is heterozygous for a trait. On the alternative hand, if the progeny produced suggests dominant trait, then the unknown man or woman is homozygous for a trait.
